Bush foot event
Lok Cabay, Batchelor
Sunday, 11 August 2019
Head down to Batchelor for an OY event on Sunday morning at Lok Cabay, site of the 2012 National Orienteering League races. Undulating granite hills give way to flat plains studded with complex stromolitic rock outcrops giving tricky but fun navigational challenges. No courses are pram friendly.

Directions
Take the road to Batchelor/Litchfield from the Stuart Highway. After about 5 km this road passes the Crater Lake Rd turnoff. Continue past this intersection towards Batchelor for about 500 m and there will be a signed track on the right. Drive 1 km along track to the parking area, taking care to drive slowly past the house to prevent dust. Track is suitable for most 2WD but low-slung Porsche owners may want to park at the start of the track and walk in.
The location provided in this map is approximate. The nearest position provided in Google Maps has been used. Please follow orienteering signs when you arrive.
