Come along for a bush orienteering course around Manton Dam. Enjoy the scenery and a change from local street and park events. The range of courses are offered where a large portion of the Easy course is taped routes through the bush, and is therefore not pram friendly.

Hat, sunscreen and friends. This course can be rocky so sturdy shoes are a good idea. A compass is useful for bush events, but remember the rocks around Manton Dam can do strange things to your compass' ability to show north. No pets are allowed at Manton Dam.

Directions
Manton Dam Recreation Area. Approx. 70 km south of Darwin along the Stuart Hwy. Turn right into the recreation area and proceed to the main carpark at the end of the road. Follow the orienteering signs: Use the little walking bridge at the NW corner of the parking lot to walk through to the Start/finish, located in a grassy area near the water to the right of the bridge.
