George Brown botanic gardens open day orienteering
George Brown botanic gardens
Sunday, 18 October 2020
Come down to the Botanic Gardens Open Day on Sunday 18th October. We will be offering a free scatter orienteering event. In a scatter course you select the number of checkpoints you would like to visit (options are 7, 11 or 14) and aim to visit the selected number of checkpoints in the shortest time possible. The course has been designed so that most checkpoints are in shady parts of the gardens and you can choose to do a short meander or a longer walk/run, depending on the number of checkpoints you decide to visit. You can start the course anytime between 10am and 3pm and all courses will be offered via the MapRunF phone app.
