Australia Day Come and Try It
East Point - Gun turrets
Thursday, 26 January 2017
Come along and start your 2017 with a great orienteering course for our annual Australia Day Come and Try It event. This year we will explore East Point with three great courses. The Easy course meanders through the jungle paths and open road sections in the western end of the reserve. This is suitable for sturdy prams. The Moderate course for those after more length and challenge includes coastal areas, jungle paths and open areas within the western and central sections of the reserve. Finally, for the serious, the Short Hard course may be muddy in places through the coastal fringes and eastern boundary of the reserve, and beware of the thorny vines in the central and western jungle sections. Enter on your own or as a group. Coaching will be available to get you going. Ideal for all ages and fitness levels and a great way to exercise your body and mind. Entry to the Australia Day event is Free, so invite your friends.
